What Serenity Soule Is and Is Not
The model is new enough that people reach for the wrong comparison. Let’s get the right picture in place before anything else.
No. Serenity Soule is a premium beauty membership, not a rental service. The distinction matters because the experience is completely different.
A rental is one and done. You borrow something for an occasion, return it, and that is where it ends. There is no profile, no community, no experience that builds over time.
A Serenity Soule membership is different. Your piece is finished to your personal style profile and yours for 90 days. It arrives ready to wear. When it comes back, Serenity Soule refurbishes it and the next rotation begins. Every cycle the experience knows you a little better.
Serenity Soule members are not renting anything. They belong to a community that handles their beauty experience so they can focus on everything else.
No. A subscription box sends you products and moves on. Serenity Soule is a membership with a rotation model, which means your piece is professionally maintained between cycles, not replaced with something random. There is continuity here. That matters.
Serenity Soule learns what works for you over time. A subscription box does not do that.
Serenity Soule is a premium beauty membership. Members pay a monthly rate to access a rotating collection of pre-customized, professionally finished pieces that are selected and prepared around their personal style profile. Every 90 days the piece is returned, refurbished, and the next rotation begins.
Think of it as having your beauty experience fully managed on an ongoing basis. The piece changes every quarter. The standard of care never does.
Serenity Soule is for anyone who is tired of the gap between what premium beauty costs and what it actually delivers. Anyone who gives a lot to the people around them and wants something in their life that gives back. Anyone who just wants to show up right without it taking over their day.
It is not built for a specific look or a specific type of person. It is built for anyone who is ready to stop settling for almost.
The Membership
Serenity Soule offers three tiers. Every tier includes the same membership experience: a pre-customized piece finished to your style profile, a 90-day rotation, professional refurbishment, a prepaid return label, your Soule Journey card, and a rotation certification card. The difference between tiers is the quality and range of hair you receive.
Off Duty at $145 per month uses processed human hair in straight and body wave textures at 150% density. Everyday effortlessness.
After Hours at $185 per month uses virgin unprocessed hair with a wider texture range at 180% density. For the person who goes from the meeting to the moment.
Main Character at $225 per month uses raw single donor hair across the full texture range at 200% density. Full glam, every room.
Serenity Soule carries three cap sizes: small, medium, and large. Members select their cap size as part of their style profile at sign-up so the right fit is ready before the piece is ever finished and shipped.
Every Serenity Soule rotation box includes your pre-customized, ready-to-wear piece, a rotation certification card confirming whether your piece is a first rotation or a professionally refurbished unit, your quarterly Soule Journey card, and a prepaid return label for when your 90 days are up.
Your very first rotation also includes a welcome kit with a wig grip band, a satin-lined sleep cap, and a care card specific to your tier with everything you need to maintain your piece through the full cycle.
Your style profile is completed at sign-up and covers your cap size, skin tone for lace tinting, texture preference, length preference, style category, and lifestyle notes. This is the information Serenity Soule uses to select and finish a piece that actually fits your life and your look.
Your profile stays with your membership and can be updated anytime your preferences change. The more accurate your profile, the better every rotation gets.
The Ciphers are the Serenity Soule member community. When you join you become one. It is not a nickname or a label. It is the name for the people this whole thing was built for, and the community that shapes where Serenity Soule goes next.
The Cipher community lives inside the Serenity Soule member portal and it is private on purpose. It is a space that exists only for people who are actually in the membership, with a tone that feels like a real conversation between people who are in on something together.
The rest reveals itself once you are inside. What Serenity Soule will say is that being a Cipher is about more than what arrives in your box every quarter. A lot more.
The Rotation
Each rotation is 90 days. At the end of the 90-day cycle members return their piece using the prepaid label included in the box and Serenity Soule begins preparing the next rotation.
Because every piece is selected and finished specifically around your style profile, there is a preparation window after your profile is complete and your membership is confirmed. Serenity Soule will communicate your expected delivery timeline clearly after sign-up. You will never be left wondering where your order is.
Every returning piece goes through a full refurbishment process before it goes anywhere. It is inspected against Serenity Soule’s quality standards, deep cleansed and conditioned, restyled and refinished where needed, and inspected again before it is cleared for its next rotation. Nothing leaves unless it meets the same standard it left the first time.
Yes. Every piece has a dynamic buyout option available at any point during your rotation. The buyout fee is calculated based on the piece’s condition and tier at the time of the request. If you fall in love with your rotation piece, keeping it is always an option. Reach out to hello@serenitysoule.com to start a buyout.
First Dibs is an optional add-on that moves you to the front of the line when new pieces enter the Serenity Soule rotation pool. When a new style arrives that matches your profile, First Dibs members get it before anyone else.
First Dibs is available as an add-on for any active membership tier. Founding Ciphers receive one free First Dibs per year starting from Year One.
Deposits and Billing
Every Serenity Soule membership begins with a $50 fully refundable deposit at sign-up. The deposit is held during your active membership and returned in full when you leave in good standing, meaning your current piece has been returned in acceptable condition and your account balance is clear.
The deposit is not a fee and does not go toward your monthly membership cost. It is held as security throughout your membership. If a damage fee or buyout is assessed and the balance is not settled separately, Serenity Soule will apply the deposit toward that balance. When that happens the deposit will need to be replenished to its full $50 amount before the next rotation ships. A membership with an outstanding deposit balance is considered incomplete until it is restored.
Membership is billed monthly on the same date each billing cycle. Autopay is required for all active memberships. Serenity Soule will never charge you unexpectedly or without notice. Your billing date, upcoming charges, and payment history are always accessible through your member portal.
If a payment fails, Serenity Soule will notify you immediately with a clear timeline to resolve the issue before any membership action is taken.
Your monthly membership rate covers the full Serenity Soule experience. On the physical side that means professional finishing and preparation of your piece to your style profile, lace tinting, knot bleaching and styling, professional refurbishment between every rotation, and prepaid return shipping both ways. Your Soule Journey card, rotation certification card, and first rotation welcome kit are all included.
Beyond the piece, membership includes full access to The Cipher community inside the Serenity Soule member portal. Exclusive content, curated touchpoints throughout the week, and a private space that feels nothing like a subscription and everything like belonging somewhere. The piece gets you in the room. The community is why you stay.
Three additional fees can apply beyond your monthly rate and all three are fully documented before you sign up. A damage fee if a piece is returned beyond normal wear, a buyout fee if you choose to keep your piece, and the optional First Dibs add-on. None are automatic and none will appear on your account without prior notice.
Damage Policy
Normal wear is everything that happens to a piece when it is being worn and cared for as intended over a 90-day cycle. Light tangling, minimal frizz from weather and daily wear, and gentle styling variations are all expected and covered within the membership. Normal wear is never charged and is exactly what the refurbishment process is designed to address.
Damage includes anything beyond what would be expected from normal daily wear. Examples include significant shedding where wefts are missing or compromised, heat damage from excessive or improper tool use, unauthorized color treatments, tears or structural damage to the cap or lace, and loss of the piece without a reported incident.
Every returned piece is inspected against Serenity Soule’s quality standards. If damage is identified the member is notified with a clear assessment before any fee is applied.
Serenity Soule tracks damage incidents across a member’s history. A first incident results in the standard damage fee and a written notice. A second incident results in a damage fee at 1.5 times the standard rate and a formal warning. A third incident results in a damage fee at twice the standard rate and automatic membership review.
Revocation is always a last resort and is documented clearly before any action is taken. Serenity Soule reserves the right to revoke membership following a third incident or in cases of intentional damage, loss of a piece without payment, or a fraudulent payment dispute.
Standard damage fees are $155 for Off Duty, $170 for After Hours, and $186 for Main Character. Repeat incidents within the same membership are subject to escalating fees as outlined in the membership agreement, which members review and agree to at sign-up. If a damage fee is not settled separately, Serenity Soule will apply the $50 deposit toward the balance. The deposit must then be replenished in full before the next rotation ships.
Cancellation and Pausing
Cancellations are processed through your Serenity Soule member portal and must be submitted during the first five days of the calendar month. Requests submitted outside that window will be processed at the start of the following month. Your current rotation piece must be returned in acceptable condition before the $50 deposit is refunded. There are no cancellation fees.
Pause requests are submitted through your Serenity Soule member portal during the first five days of the calendar month. Requests submitted outside that window will be processed at the start of the following month. Any implications for your current rotation or billing cycle will be explained clearly before anything changes on your account.
Your $50 deposit is returned in full when you leave in good standing. If the deposit was applied toward a damage fee or buyout during your membership and was not yet replenished, the remaining balance will be noted on your account at cancellation. Any deposit remainder after outstanding balances are settled is returned to you.

Founding Cipher
Five spots. One time only. If you are reading this before launch, these questions are for you.
Founding Ciphers are the five members who join Serenity Soule before the public launch. They receive permanently discounted rates locked for life and escalating perks that grow more valuable every year their membership stays active.
Rates: Off Duty $95/mo, After Hours $125/mo, Main Character $155/mo. Locked permanently.
Year One: Locked rate, priority style access each rotation, one free First Dibs per year.
Year Two: Everything from Year One plus one free tier upgrade per year and early access to new Serenity Soule products.
Year Three and beyond: Everything from Years One and Two plus named community recognition, direct brand input on new offerings, and an annual gift from Serenity Soule.
If a Founding Cipher cancels, the founding designation is permanently retired. It cannot be reinstated and the spot does not reopen. A former Founding Cipher may rejoin Serenity Soule as a standard member at the current public rate but the founding pricing and perks do not transfer.
Join the waitlist at join.serenitysoule.com. Founding Cipher spots are offered to waitlist members first when Serenity Soule opens. Once all five spots are filled they close permanently and will not reopen at any point.
